Myne has two kinds of finding: locating a note you have in mind, and seeing how notes relate to each other. This section covers both.
Find looks inside the note you’re reading; to search across every note in your vault, use Search.
The right panel
Several of these tools share the editor’s right panel, a multi-tab surface with one tab shown at a time: Links (what links here, and what this note links out to), Unlinked mentions, Outline and Tasks, plus the AI chat tab. The tabs describe the note you are reading, and the panel’s toggle appears in the title bar whenever a tab is open, including a graph, Tasks or saved-view tab. It is absent in two places: the new-tab chooser, and Attachments. Show or hide the panel with that toggle, or with the Toggle backlinks sidebar command; switch between tabs by clicking the icons in the strip along the top, and reorder or hide tabs by dragging and right-clicking the strip.
What’s in this section
- Wikilinks: linking notes together, and the three places those links surface.
- Backlinks: the Links tab — which notes link to the one you’re reading, and which notes it links out to.
- Unlinked mentions: notes that name this one without linking it.
- Outline: the current note’s heading structure, with click-to-jump.
- Tags: grouping notes by
#tag, and where a tag selection turns into a saved view. - Search: full-text search across the whole vault.
- Graph view: a map of your notes and the links between them.
